The Southern Forests Photography Club was formed in May 2010 by a few local photography enthusiasts.  Living in the Southern Forests region allows our locals infinite possibilities for photography, from gorgeous wild landscapes in our forests and along our beaches, stunning farm vistas, picturesque waterways, macro photography of forest fungi, wildflowers and invertebrates, adventure activities, events and amazing food and produce.

The Southern Forests Photography Club meets monthly and hosts regular outings and workshops to help members boost their photography skills.  The club is affiliated with the West Australian Photographic Federation and encourages members to participate in WAPF events and competitions.  Photographers of all ages, varying skill levels and equipment budgets are welcome.

Members of the SFPC have entered images into the Pemberton Easter Photography Exhibition since formation of the club and in 2013 the Pemberton Arts Group handed the organisation of the exhibition to the Pemberton Photography Club.   This exhibition attracts entries from throughout the region and is the SFPC’s biggest annual event.
