2017 Pemberton Photography Club Competition & Exhibition

The theme for the 2017 Pemberton Photography Club Competition & Exhibition has been announced - 'South West Timber Industry'.  This theme will commemorate the closure of the Pemberton Timber Mill in December 2016 ending 103 years of timber milling heritage in the Pemberton area.  A special exhibition 'End of an Era' will also be on display featuring images of the Auswest Timbers workers and the Pemberton Mill captured prior to closure by the Pemberton Photography Club members.  This display is sponsored by Auswest Timbers.  

Great prizes for the 'South West Timber Industry' competition so get out into the region and get your shots to showcase every facet of this industry!  Entry forms will be available for download soon and the forms will need to be submitted by 29 March 2017.  Framed, ready to hang entries to be delivered to the Manjimup Art Gallery by 12pm Tuesday 11th April.

Exhibition open at the Manjimup Art Gallery, Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5pm, Saturday 9.30am-12pm 12 April to 10 May 2017, closed Sundays.  Exhibition function 6-8pm, Friday 28th April 2017, RSVP to wendy.eiby8@bigpond.com for catering purposes.
